\"\"I can’t recall a time when I wasn’t writing. First and last is always my journal. It was right there at the very start, it’s still my go to place for sharing my thoughts, and it will be there at the end. It has been my guide and best friend through life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human Development – Opening Hearts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My professional career has always been in the field of personal development, which for me means supporting people in living from an open heart ( I still get excited by the definition of coaching as, “the global business of human development<\/em>“)!<\/p>\n

As a result I have often written from a heart-centered perspective on many aspects of human development, including: coaching and coaching skills; personal power and self-empowerment; relating and relationship skills; coaching as an advanced form of communication; emotional, social and spiritual intelligence; and especially whole body listening and heart-to-heart communication (which some may call telepathy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing as a Healing Tool<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In my spare time I love journalling and writing poetry, and have found it to be one of the most therapeutic processes in my own journey. I offer workshops on writing as a form of self-empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Novels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I wrote my first novel “Born Connected<\/em>” in 2008. It was completed as part of the NanoWriMo<\/a> “write a novel in a month” challenge! I’m so glad I took part, and completed it, but it hasn’t been published (yet). I learned so much about myself and the writing process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m currently working on a fiction novel in the magical realism genre. It’s my first experience of writing in this genre and really I’m having fun with it! I have also written a great deal of poetry, most of which was unpublished and residing in my private journal until recently. I have published some of my poetry on Substack<\/a>, together with a podcast, under the title Clear Light<\/a>. (You can subscribe for free<\/a> to read and listen)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
